Mrs. Nancy and family,
Sooo many great memories; learning to dive, swim, type and just being a conscientious human being. His contagious smile and "knowing" glance instilled in me the greatest gift of humanity- a true appreciation of what each of us is capable of.
He was a mentor and will be forever remembered.
Love and condolences to you, family and his many friends.

First and foremost my condolences to the entire Alexander family. May Gerald rest in peace. My fondest memory is the day after the Prom, I got a phone call from Gerald. My first response was "alright, who is it this time" as I had more than one child at school AND this was not the first call of the year! It appeared that Burt had decided to wear his tux top hat included, to school and although Gerald could not find in the school manual that tuxedos were prohibited, Burt had to change. I respected him for the fairness he showed.

The way Faith and Shelly's eyes and smiles would light up when speaking of their dad/granddad reflected a sweet, sweet love and appreciation for one another. I was blessed to witness their affection for him and hear the stories they shared. My heart hurts for you as you begin to mourn his loss. May you feel the Lord's Peace and Presence as He wraps you in His brilliant Love.
With love and hugs,
