Mineral Lease Sale for March announced by Board  

Baton Rouge -- The Louisiana Mineral and Energy Board conducted its monthly meeting and lease sale Wednesday, March 14, 2018 in the LaBelle Room of the LaSalle Office Building in Baton Rouge.

The Board collected $194,954 in bonus revenue for the March lease sale. The current FY 2017-18 total bonus payment amount is $3.1 million. At this month’s lease sale, there were five leases covering 646 acres. The leases were located in Bienville, Livingston, Natchitoches, Plaquemines, St. Bernard and Winn and parishes.

According to the Board, the ending FY 2016-17 amount of bonus revenue was $1.9 million.

March Lease Sale Results
