LATEST NEWS AND EVENTS:

The Coastal Forest Conservation Initiative is available for landowners in portions of the Atchafalaya Basin. Approximately $9.5 million is available in CIAP funds in this voluntary program for this round of projects and applications are being accepted through September 28, 2012.  The Atchafalaya Basin Natural Resource Inventory and Assessment System (ABNRIAS) is now available online at http://abp.cr.usgs.gov/

The information below is obtained from the USGS and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and has been compiled by DNR into this format to allow a quick look at information pertinent to the Atchafalaya Basin. Click here for current weather conditions and water levels.
