Supper on the Square, Dec 18 at 6 pm and 7 pm in St. Martinville.
Holly Jolly Christmas, Dec 19. Santa photos, space walks, games, food, and music at the City of Plaquemine Activity Center on Fort Street.
Christmas Boat Parade, Bayou Terrebonne, Dec 19 the parade begins at dusk (approximately 5:30 pm) at Bourg Volunteer Fire Station. Local pleasure boats decorated with Christmas lights float down the bayou to the Humble Canal Bridge, with levee bonfires. 
Old Time Christmas, Dec. 8 - 23 from 10 am to 4 pm at Vermilionville
Noël Acadien au Village, Nov. 28 to Dec 23 at 200 Greenleaf Dr. in Lafayette
Christmas Eve Bonfires, Dec 24 at 7 pm. More than one hundred bonfires will be lit up and down the river levees at around one block intervals between Gramercy, Lutcher, Paulina, and Reserve.
Bayou Vermilion Novice Canoe/Kayak Lesson, Dec. 26 from 8:30 - 11:30 am at Vermilionville
Christmas on the Cajun Coast, Dec 1 - 31 throughout St. Mary Parish
New Year's Eve Dance with Geno Delafose, Dec 31 at 8:30 pm at Vermilionville
The Cajun Way, Jan 2 from 10 am to 4 pm. Local artisans, musicians, and experts show off their skills with demonstrations of music, dancing, quilting, and more, every Saturday in January at Prairie Acadian Cultural Center in Jean Lafitte National Park.
Atchafalaya Trace Commission Meeting, Jan. 6 at 10 am at the Capitol Park Welcome Center in Baton Rouge.
Working the Wetlands, art exhibit featuring the fishing culture of southern Louisiana, Dec 5 through January 30 at LeMieux Galleries in New Orleans
