Education and Outreach
The Louisiana Oil Spill Coordinator's Office (LOSCO) is actively involved in public education, service, and outreach. LOSCO regularly sponsors and/or attends professional training courses, conferences, symposiums, workshops, trade fairs, and festivals. LOSCO provides support to numerous federal, state, local, and non-profit programs and associations. LOSCO has an audience which varies from school-aged children to international government and business representatives.
LOSCO is available to visit a variety of venues such as: classrooms, community based festivals, meetings, drills, trainings, and much more. Contact us at LOSCO@la.gov if you are interested in having LOSCO at your event.
