Rulemaking and Fees for Public Review
Act 401 of 2014 requires state government agency websites to publish information and reports when it adopts, amends or repeals a rule or fee.

Petitions to DENR and its offices requesting the adoption, amendment, or repeal of a rule shall be made pursuant to LAC 43:I.107.D, which reads, "An interested person may petition the secretary requesting promulgation, amendment, or repeal of a rule. The petition may be in simple form or by letter, and shall be considered and disposed of in writing within 90 days after submission, either by denial with written reasons, or by initiation of rulemaking proceedings in accordance with the provisions of this Section." Petitions shall be mailed to Office of the Secretary, Department of Energy and Natural Resources, P.O. Box 94396, Baton Rouge, LA 70804-9396.
