This is the first meeting of the CPRA, created by Act 8 of the 2005 Special Legislative Session. The Authority is charged with creating a master plan that fully integrates the state's coastal restoration and hurricane protection efforts.

The CPRA core members are Chairperson Sidney Coffee, Governor's Office of Coastal Activities; Scott Angelle, DNR Secretary; Johnny Bradberry, DOTD Secretary; and various levee board representation.
