Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority to hold meeting on Jan. 18
Department of Natural Resources Secretary Scott Angelle will speak on the topic of coastal restoration and levee protection at the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Meeting. Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2006 This is the first meeting of the CPRA, created by Act 8 of the 2005 Special Legislative Session. The Authority is charged with creating a master plan that fully integrates the state's coastal restoration and hurricane protection efforts. The CPRA core members are Chairperson Sidney Coffee, Governor's Office of Coastal Activities; Scott Angelle, DNR Secretary; Johnny Bradberry, DOTD Secretary; and various levee board representation.
