National Alternative Fuel Vehicle (AFV) Day Odyssey is a biennial event dedicated to promoting cleaner choices in transportation, sponsored by the National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium (NAFTC) at West Virginia University. The emphasis of the day is to bring to the public’s attention the availability of AFVs and other advanced technology vehicles as a cleaner and more efficient choice for transportation.

The morning includes a workshop and presentations for registered stakeholders. From Noon until 2 pm the public is welcome to view a number of AFVs that will be shown on the lot of the Botanic Gardens alongside the Library. Several representatives and agency officials will be on hand to answer questions about the vehicles.
