“We encourage community outreach activities throughout the year and the department’s educational group, known as the Geaux Team, is excited to get out and directly impact young people, telling them about our state’s natural resources and much more,” remarked DNR Secretary Thomas Harris.

Students that have interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers have an opportunity to learn from practicing professionals of the agency who can relate their jobs and help mentor those who self-identify and want to know more about the workplace.
