DNR Office of Mineral Resources staff will participate in the NAPE Expo in Houston, Texas this Thursday and Friday. OMR Assistant Secretary/Mineral Board Secretary Marjorie McKeithen will join OMR’s Industry Liaison for Texas, Lisa Liles, and OMR Geologists, Jim Taylor and Michael Harvey for the event. McKeithen said the group will be showcasing recently released Louisiana acreage and working to try to generate more business for Louisiana. “We are eager to take opportunities like this to reach out to the energy industry and update them on developments and improvements in Louisiana,” McKeithen said. The agency’s booth number is 1019.
