DNR officials to speak on coastal amendments
Friday, July 25, 2003
Officials of the state Department of Natural Resources are available to speak at your function, free of charge. With two months remaining, citizens and voters of Louisiana will be deciding how they will vote on 15 constitutional admendments. Three of those admendments are issues that will affect the lives of Louisianians and the future of coastal resources in our state.
If you would like to have Secretary Caldwell or one of the Department’s officials speak to your group, organization, or convention on these topics:
- upcoming constitutional admendments on coastal matters and funding on ballot in October
- LCA and Coast 2050: ongoing plans for coastal restoration and management in the state
- America’s WETLAND Campaign (bringing national attention to saving coastal Louisiana)
