DNR PROCUREMENT OFFICER RECEIVES CERTIFICATION
Department of Natural Resources Procurement Officer Judy LeBourgeois has recently been awarded the Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) certification designation.
Obtaining CPPB certification required extensive course work in management, special training and testing and is a prestigious achievement to those in the public purchasing profession. The program is administered by the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, Inc. (NIGP) under the auspices of the Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council (UPPCC).
LeBourgeois began working at DNR in 1996 and has18 years of state service in the purchasing field. She is presently Louisiana Chapter NIGP's membership secretary.
