DNR to host energy technology conference in New Orleans
Department of Natural Resources’ Technology Assessment Division (TAD) and Texas A&M University’s Energy Systems Laboratory will host
IETC 2005
Industrial Energy Technology Conference

New Orleans, LA
May 10-13, 2005
This conference will present timely research and encourage dialog among industrial and energy officials and professionals from all parts of the country. It will focus on ways to improve the efficient and environmental sound use of industrial energy and to reduce production costs.
Plenary speakers from Louisiana include Dan Borne, President of the Louisiana Chemical Association and Mike McDaniel Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality.
The Louisiana spotlights of the conference include:
- Potential Emissions Reductions from LSU Central Plant Cogeneration Project
- An Industrial Zero Emission Seal with Improved Heat Transfer Characteristics
- Natural Gas IC Engine Three-way Catalyst and Control System Good for the Environment and the Bottom Line
