Energy Expo has broad impact
-DNR to exhibit Dec. 11 and 12-
The 2003 Business Energy Solutions Expo will be presented at the New Orleans' Ernest Morial Convention Center this week, on December 11th and 12th for industry leaders, consultants and professionals. The exposition and program will address proven energy strategies that can increase power reliability. Hot topics include best practices for energy management, the need to secure reliable power, and how new devices help conserve energy.
Energy officials with the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) will be on hand at the conference in various roles. Engineer Supervisor David McGee is slated to speak on "Best Practices in Energy Management: Improving the Bottom Line" at a session on Thursday. An exhibit describing DNR's technology and energy programs and services will be featured on both days. DNR Energy Supervisor Paula Ridgeway and Marketing Representative Louis McArthur will serve as spokespersons during all the activities. Diana Brown and Autumn Goodfellow of the Energy section will also work the display booth.
The conference is hosted by Entergy Corp., a Fortune 500 company, serving the needs of customers in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
