Joel Kohler Named To National Pipeline Safety Board

Joel Kohler, Assistant Director Pipeline Division of the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, has been elected Vice Chairman of the National Association of Pipeline Safety Representatives (NAPSR). In two years, with Kohler accepting the board's top leadership position, Louisiana is expected to host the organization's 2001 national conference.

NASPR is comprised of professionals representing federal and state pipeline safety programs from across the United States. Founded in 1982, NAPSR sets polices, procedures and standards within the gas and liquid pipeline industry.
