Louisiana DNR Secretary to speak to U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee
On Wednesday, September 7th, state Department of Natural Resources Secretary Scott Angelle will give testimony to the members of the United States House Energy and Commerce Committee during a special hearing to examine Hurricane Katrina's impact on U.S. energy supply and the price of gasoline.
The hearing is scheduled to take place at 11:00 am (EST) in the nation's Capitol, Washington, D.C.
Secretary Scott Angelle said that his remarks will be made available online to members of the press and the public immediately following his address to the committee. The department's website is www.dnr.louisiana.gov.
