Louisiana Hydrogen Task Force Call For Recommendations

The Louisiana Hydrogen Task Force was established pursuant to House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) No. 64 of the 2024 Regular Session to explore and recommend strategic actions that support the development of a clean hydrogen economy in Louisiana. The resolution outlines several key objectives, including:
- Evaluating the opportunities for hydrogen production, storage, transportation, and use within Louisiana.
- Identifying regulatory, economic, and infrastructure needs and barriers.
- Supporting workforce development and innovation in the hydrogen sector.
- Promoting collaboration between government, academia, and industry stakeholders.
As mandated by HCR 64, the Task Force is required to submit a final report of its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature by December 1, 2025.
Should you have any proposed recommendations for the Task Force’s consideration, we are kindly asking that they be submitted by July 14, 2025.
