Student Winners Honored for "Saving Our Wetlands" Contest

DNR Secretary Scott Angelle salutes the statewide winners of the Governor's Office of Environmental Education’s Art and Language Contest held this year on June 21, 2005. This is the third year of the contest sponsored by Alcoa Foundation and the Environmental Education office. The contest theme "Louisiana: Saving Our Wetlands" produced winners in four age groups for both art entries and writing entries.
DNR Public Information Director Phyllis F. Darensbourg serves as the agency’s representative on the Environmental Education Commission and participated in the contest activities and judging.
