Y’all come: Shrimp and Petroleum Festival
Food, Folks, Fun and History in Morgan City this weekend

The Morgan City Shrimp and Petroleum Festival takes place over the Labor Day weekend, starting Thursday, Aug. 28 – Sept. 1, 2003.
A brand-new feature of the festival this year will be the Louisiana Cultural and Heritage Expo that will focus on presenting a number of educational videos, exciting exhibits, and Indian art demonstrations.
The state Department of Natural Resources will participate with its America’s WETLANDS display and will provide specialty items and educational materials for all ages.
