How to Acquire a Mineral Lease on State and State Agency Lands and Water Bottoms in the State of Louisiana
E. | Request for Proof of Timely Execution of Lease |
A party may request proof that a particular state or state agency mineral lease granted by the State Mineral & Energy Board was timely executed by using the official form published by the Office of Mineral Resources which may be found online at the OMR Forms page. Proof of Timely Execution of Lease consists of a certificate issued by the Office of Mineral Resources certifying that the lease was received in the Office of Mineral Resources, duly executed by the Lessee, within the allotted twenty (20) day period. There is a fee of five dollars ($5.00) for providing Proof of Timely Execution of Lease. LSA-R.S. 30:127(C).
