Peanut Butter and Jelly Food Drive
The Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank held a donation drive in March 2013, hoping to reach as many families as would be in need during the summer months when school is out.
No doubt- our DENR and CPRA employees would participate in a BIG WAY!
According to the Food Bank statistics, with summer months approaching, the children who normally receive free and reduced lunches at school no longer have these meals on a daily basis. Peanut butter and jelly are two great items that can provide multiple meals to those in need. One jar of peanut butter can make 16 sandwiches and serves as a great source of protein.
DENR and CPRA know how to spread a little love for all children in need.
