Comprehensive Coastal Plan Submitted for Legislature's Approval

BATON ROUGE -- The Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority of Louisiana (CPRA) submitted the state's comprehensive master plan for coastal restoration and hurricane protection and the Fiscal Year 2008 Annual Plan to the Louisiana Legislature today for consideration during the current legislative session.

Rousselle begins work with DNR's coastal office
Former Plaquemines Parish President Benny Rousselle has begun work at the state Department of Natural Resources (DNR) this week. According to DNR Secretary Scott Angelle, “Rousselle will serve in a capacity well-suited to his long time experience, and I look forward to the progress we can make together.”
CPRA Draft Report for Public Review
The Integrated Planning Team (IPT) of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) has just released a sixty-two page report this week to the Louisiana Congressional members, state officials, media, and the public.
