Gueydan well hearing to be rescheduled (News)
The Louisiana Office of Conservation has postponed a public hearing scheduled for today on a saltwater disposal well permit application by Toce Energy, LLC for the Hal Stelly Well No. 001, with the intent of rescheduling the hearing for a later date.

GOVERNOR’S COASTAL COMMISSION TO HEAR PUBLIC COMMENTS ON DRAFT PLAN (News)
The Governor’s Advisory Commission on Coastal Restoration and Conservation will hold a public hearing on Friday, August 6, 2004 at 9 a.m. in the Oliver Pollock Room/C-111 of the Galvez Building at 602 North 5th Street in Baton Rouge. The hearing will be held to host comments from the public on the draft Louisiana Coastal Area Ecosystem Restoration Study (LCA Plan), a plan that addresses some of the state’s most critical coastal restoration needs in the near term.

DNR Secretary to speak at Environment and Public Works Committee Field Hearing (News)
On August 26, Department of Natural Resources Secretary Scott Angelle will give testimony to the members of the United States Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works during a field hearing to examine coastal erosion causes, effects and solutions in Louisiana.

CONSERVATION HEARINGS IN BOSSIER CITY FOR FIRST TIME (News)
The Department of Natural Resources' Office of Conservation will begin holding oil and gas public hearings in the Shreveport-Bossier area beginning Thursday, January 8, 1998. Commissioner of Conservation Warren Fleet said that oil and gas unitization hearings will be conducted each month in the Churchill Room, Holiday Inn Bossier City, from 9 am to 5 pm. Commissioner Fleet said having meetings in the northern part of the state fulfills legislative Act 208 as authored by Senator Max Malone. Senator Malone represents Bossier and Caddo parishes.
