DNR Coastal Restoration Annual Project Book (2006) Available
The Louisiana Department of Natural Resources’ (DNR) Office of Coastal Restoration and Management has just published and distributed the 2006 Coastal Restoration Annual Project Reviews. The book is a review of the state’s coastal restoration projects under the direction of DNR.

February Mineral Lease Sale Takes Big Jump
The State Mineral Board has awarded 39 leases, totaling $11 million last week during its monthly Lease Sale. The board’s chairman, Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Secretary Scott Angelle, said the records show this revenue amount to be the highest in eight years for a monthly yield.

Angelle Announces Next Steps to CIAP Plan Approval
State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Secretary Scott Angelle has announced today the release of the Louisiana Coastal Impact Assistance Program (CIAP) draft plan, which includes over 100 proposed projects within the 19 coastal parishes. The release of the draft plan was presented at a meeting of the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA).
